Writing has always been a minor aspiration for me.

It started when I was in the 7th grade. I attempted to write a novel about a prisoner who, thinking he was falsely incarcerated, escapes prison on a vengeful murder spree of those who put him in jail. I lost my drafts but apparently, the story, while remembering it now was a little B-movie quality cheezy, did get a good reaction from my fellow 7th-grade readers.

After that venture, I didn’t do much writing until in 2008 I started a geek culture blog with a fellow geek. Two Geeks and a Blog lasted for two years and had, at its peak, 10,000 unique visitors a month. Sadly life commitments got in the way, and we folded the website.

More years passed and now I’ve again been bitten by the writing bug. I first regained interest in writing two years ago when a friend posted on Facebook that they were participating in the NaNoWriMo challenge. I started to draft two different stories, but work got in the way.

Now I dabble in writing here and there when I find time and inspiration. As I write, I’ll share some of my writing on this blog, in various forms of quality.
I have a few books that provide prompts to inspire writing (re 642 Things to Write About) as well as some stories that remain in my mind.
So readers stay tuned for more.
